Recruiting Roundup 7.24.18

Published

on

Camp season is coming to a close rather quickly as we are sprinting toward the start of fall camp on August 2nd.

Big news came for West Virginia last week as c/o 2019 defensive lineman Dvon Ellies (Owings Mills, MD) released his top four schools which included West Virginia along with Ohio State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech. Ellies (6’2″ 280 lbs) is a solid interior defensive lineman that could be a run plug at the next level. He has a similar body type to former Mountaineer Darrien Howard. Ellies seems to be a solid fit for anyone at the nose position, but has the quickness to move outside as an edge rusher.
