According to his Twitter account, Funderburk has received four Division I offers since moving to the portal, including West Virginia, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern and Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of North Carolina posted his best season with the Richmond program in 2022, totaling 36 tackles, 24 solo, nine passes defended, two forced fumbles and four interceptions. Funderburk tallied a pick-six against Stony Brook on Sept. 24.
