Late last night 2020 wide receiver Bryce Gowdy (Deerfield Beach, FL) announced via Twitter that he will be making his college choice on July 30th at 6 p.m. on the Tony Sands Show. Gowdy informed me that his decision will be between Georgia Tech, Penn State, Oregon, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Last month when I spoke to Gowdy he had great things to say about West Virginia and the environment, “The whole area was natural and I love nature a lot. The facilities are really cool and they’ll have a new one in 2020.” Gowdy said. When asked about his relationship with coach Travis Trickett he responded saying, “He recruited a lot of guys at my school to Georgia State, so I’m very familiar with him. He is real cool and not that flashy. but has a lot of substance.”

Gowdy also went on to say that West Virginia has a “high ceiling” and that “a new era is upon us.”
