WVU Football JUCO RB recruit Martavious Boswell

Just a few days after placing WVU Football in his final four, one of the nation’s top junior college running backs officially committed to the Mountaineers.

Martavious Boswell’s agent told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett that he’s ready to end his recruitment. West Virginia beat out Kansas State, Mississippi State and Tulsa.

Boswell was scheduled to visit Kansas State on Nov. 24 and Mississippi State a few days later on Nov. 28, but those visits now appear unnecessary. He also visited Southern Miss.

247 Sports ranks Boswell (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) as the No. 2 junior college running back on the market.

He was recently named the MACCC (Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference) Offensive Player of the Year after running for 1,109 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Fort Worth, Texas this season.

Boswell also had offers from schools like Charlotte, East Carolina, FAU, Liberty, Marshall and many others.
