Report: Top Transfer Big Norchad Omier to Visit West Virginia

Arkansas State transfer Norchad Omier tells Nick Lorensen of The Portal Report that he plans on visiting West Virginia soon. Omier (6-foot-7, 230 pounds) reportedly visited Miami (FL) over the weekend.
Norchad Omier tells me that he has visited the University of Miami and plans on visiting West Virginia.
The Arkansas State star won the 2022 Sun Belt Player of the Year award and racked up 35 double doubles there.

Omier spent two seasons at Arkansas State, putting up big-time numbers and winning the 2022 Sun Belt Player of the Year award. The Bluefields, Nicaragua, native averaged 17.9 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.9 blocks per game. Omier shot 63 percent from the field this past season.
Ever since entering the transfer portal, Omier has been a highly touted transfer, as EvanMiya ranks him the No. 2 transfer in the country. Omier will have three years of eligibility remaining.
