Continuing to build momentum off their historic 2026 season, the WVU baseball staff gained a commitment from transfer pitcher Robert Satin.

The left-hander, listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, out of the University of Tampa Bay announced his commitment on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Thank you to the University of Tampa, my friends, and family. A special thank you to all of my teammates and Coach Urso. With that being said, I have committed to West Virginia. Mountaineer Nation, letโ€™s do this,” he posted.

Satin is coming off his first season as a full-time starter, going 13-2 and posting a 2.61 ERA, a WHIP of 1.08, and walking just only batters in 113.2 innings of work. He started his college career making 10 appearances at Florida before transferring to the Division II level.

A two-time Division II national champion, Satin brings a winning mindset to a West Virginia program riding high off their first-ever trip to the College World Series.
