Mountaineers in the Pros
Watch: WVU Product Rasul Douglas Records First Pick of Season
Former Mountaineer Rasul Douglas did what he does best on Sunday – take the ball away from the other team.
After helping the Packers win multiple games last season with late interceptions, Douglas picked up his first pick of the 2023 season early in Green Bay’s game against Atlanta.

He recorded four tackles in the game after totaling six last week. Unfortunately for Douglas and the Packers, the Flacons ended up coming back to win 24-22 in the final seconds of the game. Green Bay is now 1-1 on the season.
After a stellar college career that included being a first team All-Big 12 in 2016 thanks to recording eight interceptions, Douglas was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Eagles.
Rasul Douglas spent two seasons at West Virginia after transferring from a community college. He’s in his second season with Green Bay after bouncing around the NFL since departing Philadelphia following the 2019 season. Douglas earned a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl LII.
