Watch: WVU QB Garrett Greene Runs by TCU Defense for 35-Yard TD

West Virginia needed to answer TCU’s quick touchdown, and quarterback Garrett Greene kept the ball himself to make that happen.
A play after completing a strike to Devin Carter, Greene ran by defenders for a 35-yard touchdown. Greene used his speed to extend a play that was initially looking to at least be for a first down into a score.

The touchdown tied the game at 7.
Greene missed most of WVU’s last two games with an ankle injury he suffered early on in the Backyard Brawl against Pitt. Nicco Marchiol won those games for the Mountaineers, but Greene returned to get the start tonight.
