West Virginia Basketball Officially Sets Date for Italy Trip

West Virginia basketball has officially set their dates to their preseason trip to Italy. The Mountaineers will head to Italy from July 31 to Aug. 10, visiting Portofino, Florence and Rome.
Details to the schedule will be announced at a later date.

West Virginia currently has nine players on scholarship with four spots to fill:ย RaeQuan Battle (G), Jesse Edwards (C), Josiah Harris (F), Kobe Johnson (G), Kerr Kriisa (G),ย Jose Perez (G), Omar Silverio (G),ย Patrick Suemnick (F), Mohamed Wague (F), Seth Wilson (G). WVU is in their first week with Josh Eilert filling in as interim head coach, replacing Bob Huggins. Eilert has been with West Virginia’s program since 2007 and has worked his way up the coaching ladder. Eilert’s staff will be announced soon as well.
West Virginia’s last foreign trip was to Spain in August 2019.
