West Virginia Comes in at No. 5 in Big 12 Preseason Poll
On Thursday, the Big 12 Conference released the men’s basketball preseason poll, with West Virginia coming in at No. 5, tied with Oklahoma State.

In the 2020-21 season, the Mountaineers finished 19-10, with an 11-6 record in conference play. This record helped WVU finish in a tie for third with Texas.
WVU senior guard Taz Sherman was voted to the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention list on Wednesday by the conference, along with the other preseason awards.
Next Wednesday, WVU HC Bob Huggins, and players Sean McNeil and Sherman will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, to take part in Big 12 media days.
