After a long college career that started six years ago, former Mountaineer Devin Grant is looking to the next chapter.

Grant hopes to gain an opportunity to play in the NFL, officially declaring for this year’s upcoming Draft.

Grant began his college career during the COVID-altered 2020 season. A three-star recruit out of high school, he earned playing time from day one but never managed to break into the starting lineup as a major contributor.

After 15 games in three years at Colorado, Grant dropped down to the FCS level with Incarnate Word, finally realizing his potential as a recruit in 2024 when he racked up 8.5 sacks across 14 games (13 starts). Grant transferred to WVU following the spring practice period, giving himself another shot at FBS during his final college season.

He recorded 20 total tackles with 4.5 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble with West Virginia in 2025.
