West Virginia’s coaching staff extended an offer 2024 4-star C JT Rock on Monday night. Rock is a 7-foot prospect out of Sioux Falls, S.D playing at Lincoln High School.

“Extremely blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University! Thank you to coach Huggins and coach Eilert for this amazing opportunity,” Rock wrote on Twitter.

Rock’s (7-foot-1, 240 pounds) recruitment has picked up this summer, receiving many Power-5 offers. Rock has received offers from Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, South Dakota State, West Virginia, Wisconsin and others. The junior recently took a visit to Creighton in September.

Rock is a great defender being a big presence in the paint. The South Dakota native is working on his shot to expand his range and stretch the floor.

WV Sports Now will keep you up-to-date with Rock’s recruitment as well as other West Virginia basketball recruits.
