West Virginia Pursuing Las Vegas OT

Since Neal Brown was hired as West Virginia’s head coach, it’s become apparent he doesn’t mind trekking into uncharted recruiting territories.

Last month, Brown did just that by offering Desert Pines (NV) 2021 offensive tackle Tiaoalii Savea.

“I’m truly blessed to receive an offer from WVU,” Savea told DubVNation.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Nevada product already has offers from Florida, Arizona State, Oregon, and Tennessee, but is not sure about visiting Morgantown at this time.

As for now, Savea is focused on “easily putting people on the ground more and playing more on the defensive side.”

If the Mountaineers plan on securing Savea’s talents, they’ll have to overcome a formidable list of favorite’s from the Las Vegas star.

“My top list of schools is Florida, Oregon, USC and Louisville.”
