Gooden is rated by 247 Sports as the No. 98 overall player in the Class of 2023 with offers from Arizona, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

**On Sunday, West Virginia hosted one of their top 2023 targets in cornerback Antonio Cotman Jr., from Life Christian Academy in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Cotman (6’1″, 185) holds offers from West Virginia, Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Purdue.
