**Update (12:55 p.m.) –
West Virginia football offered 2024 edge rusher Darien C. Mayo (6-foot-6, 240-pounds) from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School (OLGC) in Olney, Maryland.
Mayo is the second player from OLGC to be offered in a week as 2025 athlete Elijah Pedro was just offered by them this past Wednesday. West Virginia is Mayo’s fourth offer thus far, following a decent early trip of Maryland, USC and Virginia Tech.
