Kevin Dowdell becomes the latest Mountaineer to sign an MLB contract, signing with the Los Angeles Angels. The WVU baseball program announced Dowdell signed with the Angels as an undrafted free agent on Tuesday.

After taking a day to let it all sink in, Steve Sabins, who WVU announced will be its next baseball head coach on Monday, wanted to offer a message of thanks to Mountaineer Nation.

Best Virginia will begin their journey in the TBT tournament starting next week in Wheeling. The team revealed their jerseys that they will wear in the tournament.

WVU names Bridgeport, West Virginia Ross Marra assistant athletics director and puts him in charge of creative and digital media for WVU Athletics.
WVU has named Bridgeport, West Virginia, native Ross Marra as its new Assistant Athletics Director.
Marra, who spent the last 3 years at Wake Forest, will be in charge of creative/digital media.

West Virginia has extended an offer to 2026 forward Maximo Adams on Monday night. Adams is a 6-foot-6 prospect from Harbor City, Ca.
