WVSN High School Football Player of the Week: Parkersburg QB Bryson Singer
Parkersburg High has one of the most tradition-rich football programs in West Virginia, so when you’re breaking records for the Big Reds that’s saying something.
Junior quarterback Bryson Singer did exactly that in PHS’s blowout 54-14 win against John Marshall last week in a battle of state-ranked Class AAA teams. Singer, who did not play the entire game because of the lopsided score in Parkersburg’s favor, accounted for 436 yards of total offense against the Monarchs to break a 32-year old program record while also totaling six touchdowns in Friday’s win.
For his efforts, Singer has been named the Week 8 WVSN High School Football Player of the Week.
