WVSN High School Football Player of the Week: Fairmont Senior QB Gage Michael

Fairmont Senior scored perhaps the upset of the season in West Virginia high school football last week, knocking off Class AAA powerhouse Spring Valley 27-18 at East-West Stadium.

Senior quarterback Gage Michael led the way in the win for the Polar Bears, rolling up 209 rushing yards with two touchdown on the ground to go with 106 passing yards and two more touchdowns through the air.

For his efforts, Michael has been named the Week 6 WVSN High School Football Player of the Week.
