Published

on

Musselman senior Blake Hartman did a little bit of everything in Saturday’s 49-7 win at Hurricane in a battle of Top 16 Class AAA teams.

Hartman, who has committed to play at Lehigh, ran for 272 yards with three rushing touchdowns — including a 94-yard scoring run — in addition to throwing a touchdown pass and returning a kickoff for a touchdown as the Applemen standout rolled up more than 400 all-purpose yards in Putnam County.

For his efforts, Hartman has been named the Week 7 WVSN High School Football Player of the Week. Hartman is a the first player to be honored twice this season.
