WVSN High School Football Player of the Week: Spring Mills QB Keon Padmore-Johnson

Published

on

Spring Mills quarterback Keon Padmore-Johnson starred for the Cardinals as a sophomore in 2018 but suffered a bad knee injury as a junior that forced him to miss the 2019 season. Healthy again and back on the field as a senior, Padmore-Johnson is torching the competition so far.

The Cardinals’ quarterback completed 13 of 15 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns while also running for 125 yard and three touchdowns in a 55-7 win against visiting Hampshire. His seven scores against the Trojans last week brought his two-game total to an eye-popping 14 touchdowns.

For his efforts, Padmore-Johnson has been named the WVSN High School Football Player of the Week.
