Since the WVU football program is experiencing a transition and that likely means an influx of players going in and out of West Virginia, WV Sport Now is offering this separate notebook that will serve as a tracker of the transfer portal movement.

Below are the most recent players who were reported or confirmed to be entering the transfer portal.

WR Hudson Clement

Hudson Clement became a fan favorite to WVU fans throughout the last two seasons. He initially started off as a walk-on and then eventually earned a full scholarship after a breakout performance early in the 2023 season.

In 2024, Clement caught 51 balls for 741 yards and scored five touchdowns. Heโ€™s coming off a monster performance in West Virginiaโ€™s 42-37 Frisco Bowl loss on Tuesday night.

Against Memphis, Clement made 11 receptions for 166 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns.

DB Jaheem Joseph

WVU defensive back Jaheem Joseph joins the list of players in the transfer portal. Joseph posted about his decision on Friday afternoon.

Joseph transferred to West Virginia from Northwestern during the 2024 offseason. In 2024, Joseph recorded 41 total tackles, two pass deflections and an interception.

Despite WVUโ€™s secondary being a weakness all season, Josephโ€™s individual production took a step up from his three years at Northwestern. He made just 23 tackles, granted did pick off three passes, in 2023.

Clemente is dialed into WV for balance of his life IF smart enough to ride the RichRod train. He’s perfect for his system.
I predict his number will be retired, it will be that good
