Wilson finishes this West Virginia career after two season after transferring from Georgia Southern. He recorded 102 total tackles, three pass deflections and two picks in 2024.
Overall at WVU, Wilson registered 181 combined tackles, three interceptions and a couple tackles for a loss. Wilson was named Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his work during West Virginia’s road on the win at Cincinnati.
Wilson totaled 11 tackles, including six registered as solo, to go along with his interception that he returned 79 yards for a touchdown in WVU’s 31-24 road win at Cincinnati.
Upon arriving in Morgantown in the summer of 2023, Anthony Wilson made it known he wants to follow in the footsteps of former Mountaineer Karl Joseph. He will now have the opportunity to try to do that at the NFL level as well.
