WVU Baseball Adds Mid-Week Pitt Game

Published

on

The 13-8 West Virginia baseball team just announced it would add an additional meeting with the Pitt Panthers (12-10) tomorrow.

The first pitch at the University of Pittsburgh’s Charles L. Cost Field is set for 5 p.m. ET.

The Mountaineers are 110-92 all-time against the Panthers and have won six of the last seven meetings; the two schools split the series last year, 1-1. Pitt is WVU’s most-played opponent in program history.

The Mountaineers and Panthers will also meet on Apr. 19, at PNC Park, as well as May 10, back home at Monongalia County Ballpark.
