WVU Basketball F Jackson Fields to Enter Transfer Portal
Forward Jackson Fields plans to enter the transfer portal, become the latest departure for the WVU basketball program, per Sam Kayser of League Ready.
The 6-foot-8 Missouri City, Texas native transferred to WVU after playing three seasons at Troy.
Fields averaged 4.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in nine games for the Mountaineers during the 2025-26 season. He missed the first seven games of the season.
Prior to WVU, Fields started 33 of 34 games played in the 2024-25 season, averaging 7.9 points per game, the most out of his three seasons at Troy. He also had his best season in rebounds per game at 4.8.
