WVU Fans Enjoy UMass Win Despite Second Half Concerns
WVU fans experienced a roller coaster ride of emotions while watching the Mountaineers move to 2-0 on the season thanks to a 75-69 win over UMass.
Below shows how WVU fans were reacting to the first half lead and then the scoring drought of the second half.
Only 2 games, but at least they’ve completed halfs instead of going on 10 minute lulls… obviously plenty of season to go, but they’ve been great to watch so far

They say a team takes on the identity of their coach.
Coach DeVries coaches with passion. His energy on the sidelines is contagious.
Refreshing.

A little sloppy at the end but the Mountaineers are going to be a fun team to watch this year.
Thru 2 games, the passing and intensity stand out.

Darian DeVries can coach some ball. Not sure how good #WVU will be this year. But they guard, play their asses off, and share the ball. Refreshing after last years nightmare.

There’s going to be a *lot* of tough moments for this WVU basketball team, especially when the Big 12 meat grinder begins. But god are they fun to watch. The motion & ball movement on offense is a complete breath of fresh air compared to recent years. Still bulldogs on defense.
