WVU Fans React to Opening Game of Ross Hodge Era
Despite a game too close for comfort at times, WVU fans watched the Ross Hodge era start off with a win.
West Virginia beat Mount Saint Mary’s 70-54, pulling away late in the second half, on Tuesday to open the 2025-26 season 1-0.

huggins had the players making 100free throws at the end of practice,, looks like we have to make 200 free throws before shower time,,, i think they said that mt saint mary was short 5 players,,, humm looks like we tied one arm behind them in order to get a win… lots , and lots ,and lots, of work to do before big 12 ,does look, after one game, that the big 12 rankings is about right for us…honor didn’t look like he was this superstar everyone is talkig about,,, let’s see what he does in the next game.
