Another day and another offer from the WVU football program to a transfer defensive back. One of the most recent offers goes to Liberty transfer Preston Hodge.

West Virginia sent Hodge one of his first offers after he revealed he was transferring. Hodge posted about his WVU offer less than 20 minutes after he announced his decision to enter the Transfer Portal.

Hodge is coming off posting a big jump in production in 2023. He recorded 48 total tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble for an undefeated Liberty team.

Hodge, a junior, is now on the hunt for a new program for his final season of eligibility, possibly at a program who plays in a major conference like West Virginia.

In addition to WVU, Hodge already has offers from Colorado, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, Texas Tech and Texas A&M.

You can find Hodge and other transfer players listed on our partner the Portal Report’s database.
