WVU Football QB commit Wyatt Brown

For some positive WVU football news, a 2026 quarterback prospect committed to West Virginia on Sunday. Right after wrapping up his visit by receiving an official offer, Wyatt Brown announced that he’s taking the step to commit as well.

“God is good! Blessed to say that after an incredible visit and conversation with Rich Rodriguez and Rhett Rodriguez, I have earned an offer from West Virginia University! With that being said, I am also 1000% committed! Go Mountaineers,” posted Brown on social media.ย

Brown, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect out of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Cali., is currently considered a consensus three-star. He’s ranked as the No. 161 quarterback prospect in the class of 2026 and the 278th best player in California.

Brown picked WVU over offers from Arkansas, California, UCF, Wyoming and several others.
