WVU Women Up Two Spots to No. 19 in This Week’s AP Top-25
The West Virginia women’s basketball team is up two spots in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll to No. 19.
The Mountaineers (15-2, 9-2 Big 12) broke into the top-25 rankings last week at No. 21 and went on to defeat Iowa State Wednesday and Texas on Saturday, extending their winning streak to 10-straight games.
The only other Big 12 team in this week’s rankings is No. 7 Baylor. Iowa State and Oklahoma State both received votes.
WVU will host Kansas on Wednesday and Oklahoma on Sunday in the WVU Coliseum for this week’s games.
