WVU WR Traylon Ray Carted Off in Middle of Baylor Game
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With 5:41 remaining in the third quarter of a close shootout with Baylor, WVU endured a divesting injury. Wide receiver Traylon Ray went down with what looked to be a serious leg injury.
Ray had to be carted off the field as many of his teammates went over to wish him well before he was taken into the locker room.
Prior to the injury, Ray caught 25 balls for 22 yards and a touchdown. The sophomore entered the game with 25 receptions for 404 yards and three scores.
At the time of the injury, Baylor held a 35-28 lead over West Virginia late in the third quarter.
