The recruiting work by the WVU football staff from the bye week continues to show as a rated recruit from nearby state announced an offer from West Virginia.

Amauri Polydor, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback out of Mount Zion Prep in Lanham, Md., can now add the Mountaineers to his list that also includes South Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

Polydor revealed he received the WVU offer from assistant secondary coach Jevaughn Codlin.

Polydor is considered a three-star 2026 prospect by On3 Sports, being rated as one of the top ten players in Maryland and top 50 cornerbacks in the country.

Even though Polydor has yet to be officially rated by other national recruiting outlets, those should roll in as he continues to progress in his recruitment.
