If Neal Brown hasn’t won over the West Virginia fan base yet, I’m not sure how else he can.

Today, he and nine other assistant coaches made the trek to Huntington to visit consensus five-star offensive lineman Darnell Wright.

Brown has made a huge emphasis on in-state recruiting, saying “we are going to do everything in our power to make sure they stay home.”

The featured image above says a lot about Neal Brown and his recruiting efforts. He is going all out to land the state’s top prospect and whether he chooses West Virginia or not, the effort is impressive.

Tennessee is the assumed favorite, but with the caravan of coaches Neal Brown brought along with him, Darnell Wright’s decision may be all the more difficult.

Brown said during an interview with Tony Caridi that this process will be like “speed-dating” to create and develop a relationship within only a couple of weeks in hopes of landing some of these recruits.

Wright is expected to visit Tennessee this weekend and make his announcement on signing day next Wednesday.
