2022 Ohio PG Sean Jones Planning Unofficial Visit to WVU This Week
After signing two guards out of Ohio in its 2020 recruiting class a third is now looking at West Virginia with 2022 point guard Sean Jones making an unofficial visit to campus later this week. Jones visited Pitt Monday and told West Virginia Sports Now that Morgantown is his next destination.
Jones (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) is a three-star rated point guard from Gahana Lincoln High School in Columbus, Ohio. 247Sports rates Jones as the sixth-best prospect in Ohio and the 28th-best point guard in the nation in the 2022 class.
He's a shifty, crafty, and explosive playmaking Point Guard who has the ability to get to any spot on the floor whenever he wants. He scores well at all 3 levels, breaks down the defense to create space for shooters on the perimeter and aggressively provides ball pressure! pic.twitter.com/NrdSAQ5f0f

Jones does not hold an offer from WVU yet, but his offer list includes Marquette, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Kansas State, WVU, Xavier, Ohio State and Pitt, among others.
WVU signed two of the top-rated guards from Ohio in its most recent recruiting class in Kobe Johnson from Canton McKinley and Seth Wilson from Lorain. Current WVU point guard Miles “Deuce” McBride is also an Ohio native, from Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati.
