With running back being a position that has always been a point of emphasis for the West Virginia football program, and is becoming a major catalyst of the offense again, the Mountaineers are sending offers to recruits to keep the future of the position strong.

On Tuesday night, a running back out of Ohio announced he’s received an offer from WVU. Diore Hubbard, who currently attends Gahanna Lincoln High School in Columbus, Ohio, earned the offer after having talks with WVU offensive coordinator Chad Scott.

Hubbard lists himself at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, but is viewed as a bit smaller at 5-foot-10, 185 pounds by most outlets. He’s classified as a 3-star player by On3.com.

With plenty of time left in his recruitment, Hubbard has already also garnered attention from Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Kentucky, Marshall, Miami (OH) and Toledo.

Highlights from his 2022 junior season can be found in the embedded tweet below.
