Real recruiting will once again resume for college football coaches. This means the WVU football coaching staff is getting back out on the recruiting trail, and that starts by visiting their current commits.

Starting on Friday, coaches are permitted to be on the road and meet with potential recruits/current commitments in-person. This will be important as the Mountaineers look to get face-to-face confirmations from their current commitments in their 2024 class.

WV Sports Now has been working to find out where the West Virginia coaches will be over the next week. Here’s what we can confirm so far.

Visits Over the Next Week

Khalil Wilkins (6-foot-4, 190 pounds), a class of 2024 Roosevelt High School product out of Washington, D.C., tells WVSN he has a meeting with coaches scheduled for next Friday.

Obinna Onwuka (6-foot-2, 225 pounds), a 4-star DE from Maryland, says a WVU coach will be taking a trip to visit him on Sunday.

Diorre Hubbard, who currently attends Gahanna Lincoln High School in Columbus, Ohio, will be visiting with WVU offensive coordinator Chad Scott, who has been his lead recruiter throughout the past year. He’s rated as a three-star prospect by most outlets, namely 247 Sports.

Kyle Altuner (6-foot-3, 284-pounds), a three-star 2024 interior offensive lineman from Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland, expects to see members of the West Virginia staff on Sunday.

Elijah Kinsler, a New Jersey native and a highly coveted three-star Edge, expects to meet with WVU coaches in the coming days.
