Pedro “Slide” Reyes may have two high school seasons left, but he’s already prepared to narrow down his list of top schools. And the three-star recruit has the WVU football program among his top six.

Reyes, who plays both wide receiver and cornerback at Absegami High School in Absecon, New Jersey, revealed the programs he’s considering by posting a graphic on social media on Thursday afternoon. In addition to West Virginia, Reyes has Coastal Carolina, Liberty, Maryland, North Carolina and Charlotte as his top schools.

Listed at 6-foot, 185 pounds, Reyes is considered just an overall athlete by most national recruiting outlets. He holds a three-star rating from both 247 Sports and On3.com.

Prior to cutting down his potential schools, Reyes also had offers on the table from Akron, Cincinnati, Duke, Towson and Vanderbilt. Most outlets protect Ryes to North Carolina. He has a visit to Chapel Hill planned this coming weekend. Reyes did take trips to check Penn State and Pitt in September.
