Top 2025 4-Star DL Recruit Returning to WVU Football for OSU Game

A four-star defensive lineman recruit will be making his way to Morgantown this weekend to experience the WVU football program during a home game.
Amir Leonard-Jean Charles (6-foot-4, 305 pounds) announced his trip to his social media followers on Wednesday. Considered a top 2025 prospect, Charles has earned star ratings from multiple national outlets.

The Lipscomb Academy product is classified as a three-star by 247 Sports and a four-star by Rivals. He hails from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, which is near Nashville.
247 Sports’ composite ratings rank Charles as the number 13 player in the state of Tennessee. He currently holds offers from major programs like Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Ole Miss, Purdue and Tennessee. He was offered by West Virginia on August 11.
