A versatile three-star recruit will be in Morgantown to visit the WVU football program at the end of May. Class of 2025 defensive end/outside linebacker Jayden Lofting revealed the dates for his official visit on Wednesday afternoon.

Loftin will spend time touring the facility and meeting the WVU football staff from May 31 to June 2. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, Loftin is a junior at Somerville High School in Somerville, N.J. He’s listed as simply an edge rusher by most national recruiting outlets.

Rivals ranks Loftin a three-star player and the No. 24 prospect in New Jersey. Besides West Virginia, Loftin has offers from schools like Boston College, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Pitt, Syracuse and Tennessee. He’s also been in communication with Duke and Georgia among other major conference programs.

WVU extended Loftin an offer in October.
