2027 4-Star LB Broncs Baker Uses WV Sports Now to Reveal News

One of West Virginia’s top recruit for their next 2027 class used WV Sports Now to reveal some news on Monday. Four-star linebacker Broncs Baker will visit WVU for their upcoming junior day.

Baker (6-foot-1 and 215 pounds) quoted a past WV Sports Now post on X to announce his plans.

He previously publicized that he would reveal his top choices on Jan. 15, cutting down a list that includes West Virginia competing with Arizona State and Kansas State. California and UNLV are also in the running. West Virginia sent an offer to Baker on Nov. 24.

However, he also added the caveat that his decision may come down to what his brother does.

Easton Baker, a transfer linebacker out of Illinois, is on the hunt for a new program after deciding to enter the portal. Easton was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He experienced a redshirt season in 2024 and then appeared in one game during the 2025 season with Illinois.

Ranked as the No. 5 prospect in Utah by 247 Sports, Baker currently attends Stansbury High School in Tooele, Utah. He’s also considered the No. 28 linebacker in the country for his class and a top 400 player overall.
