Powell (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) has picked up offers from WVU, Akron, Arkansas, Boston College, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Liberty, Marshall, Michigan, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Western Michigan and Youngstown State.
A Top 6 featuring Arkansas, WVU, Toledo, Syracuse, Michigan and Indiana has been narrowed down, and despite a lack of visit to WVU, Powell obviously has the Mountaineers firmly in the running — even if they aren’t at the top of the list.
