5-star offensive lineman to potentially visit West Virginia

Although the Mountaineers are coming fresh off a disappointing bowl loss to Syracuse, there is some good news.

Today, five star offensive linemen Darnell Wright of Huntington, WV was asked what schools he is considering to officially visit in January.

His response? “I’ll probably take one at WVU, probably UNC, and whoever else with the little time left I have.”

This comes as quite of a shock considering West Virginia was not included in his initial top list of schools. Coaching changes will do that. Although the Mountaineers have recruited the Mountain State fairly well, they have missed on the big prospects like Wright.

Wright will also consider Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina.
