Six seniors will walk on West Virginia’s senior day festivities prior to the Kansas State game.

WVU’s Seniors:

Kedrian Johnson / G / #0

Emmitt Matthews / F / #1

Tre Mitchell / F / #3

Joe Toussaint / G / #5

Erik Stevenson / G / #10

Jimmy Bell / F / #15

Johnson, Matthews and Stevenson will take the court at the WVU Coliseum for the final time as their eligibility runs out. Mitchell, Toussaint and Bell will walk but have the option to return to a fifth season in college due to the COVID eligibility rule.

“[It’s] emotional. You spend so much time with those guys you hate to see them go,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said.

All six seniors lead West Virginia in scoring as four are in their first year with the Mountaineers. West Virginia is currently 17-13 as they look to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in two seasons. WVU can solidify their tournament hopes with a win over K-State on Saturday.

The Mountaineers and Wildcats will tipoff at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
