WVU Basketball Reaches Out to La Salle Transfer Jhamir Brickus

WVU Basketball has reached out to La Salle transfer Jhamir Brickus, he told CBB Content on Thursday. Brickus is a 5-foot-11 guard from Coatesville, Pa.

Brickus has also heard from Texas, Iowa, Virginia, Seton Hall, Utah, Wake Forest, Cal, VCU and East Carolina. Brickus is visiting VCU on Sunday.

Brickus averaged 13.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals for the Explorers this past season. Brickus shot 43% from the field, 40% from three and 86% from the free throw line. Brickus scored 41 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals against Temple on Nov. 29.

WVU has landed one transfer commitment in Tucker DeVries so far this offseason losing Josiah Harris (F), Seth Wilson (G), Patrick Suemnick (F) and Kerr Kriisa (G) so far. WVU also has a high school commitment from former Drake signee KJ Tenner.

West Virginia is hosting Conor Enright (G – Drake), Toby Okani (F – UIC) and Atin Wright (G – Drake) this weekend.
