Basketball World, WVU Fans React to Bob Huggins Health Update

When I was a first year head coach at the University of Southern Indiana, I traveled to Cincinnati to learn from the best, how to teach pressure man to man defense. Huggs didn't edit, he shared it all with a nobody Div II coach, because he loved to teach and he loved the game! https://t.co/NEXUoyaiV3

Very saddened to hear the news about Coach Huggins. He was very gracious to @AshlandU_Hoops when we began our “speaker” series three years ago.

A titan in the game of college basketball but also equally as important for basketball in the state of Ohio.

Prayers to you, Coach! https://t.co/pGKq3jIrsv

This is so sad. Smartest person I’ve ever known. My brother for life https://t.co/aHnwyetCux

You wouldn’t know it from how he coached from the sidelines, but Coach Huggins was a very soft spoken man away from the game. Our Marquette teams improved because we had to if we wanted to compete with his teams. After my senior year at #mubb I spent a lot of time in Cincinnati… https://t.co/WwV4xBWmdd

Saw this today and started shedding some tears. Bob Huggins’ teams are what made me fall in love with WVU. I know things didn’t end well with him and the university, but WVU better roll out the red carpet for him before it’s too late https://t.co/7tVjUuhNyq
