As usual, Saturday was another exciting day in the Big 12 Conference. In addition to Kansas State beating West Virginia, there were a couple close games and a couple other significant victories.

TCU remains unbeaten in exciting finish

TCU and Baylor could argue for having played the most exciting game in all of college football. The Horned Frogs ended up winning on a field as time expired after needing to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter. The 29-28 win was good enough to keep TCU undefeated and keep their playoff hopes alive.

Oklahoma wins Bedlam

Even though there’s plenty about this season that Oklahoma fans likely wish to forget, the Sooners can say they won Bedlam. Oklahoma beat down Oklahoma State, continuing the second half slide for the Cowboys this year.

Texas dominates Kansas

The Longhorns won really big over a depleted Jayhawks team. Texas won 55-14 thanks in part to a monster performance from Bijan Robinson. The Texas running back ran for 243 yards and scored four touchdowns in the game.

Texas Tech gets by Iowa State

The Iowa State defense held Texas Tech’s potent offense to just 14 points, but that wasn’t enough to win. The Cyclones managed only 10 and the Red Raiders got the win, eliminating ISU from a chance at bowl eligibility. The win gave Texas Tech the necessary six wins.
