SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — During WVU HC Bob Huggins’ official enshrinement into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the coaching veteran thanked all of his former players, coaches and teammates.

“Guys that I have had the pleasure of coaching to my assistant coaches, support staff throughout my career and to my teammates, I thank each and every one of you,” Huggins said. “You’re all my guys. I’m very proud and love all of you so much. I’ll cherish our relationships forever.”

Huggins has coached many players from Walsh College, Akron, Cincinnati, Kansas State and West Virginia during his four decades as a coach. The West Virginia native has coached 14 All-Americans and produced 20 NBA draft selections.

Huggins has won 916 career games spanning five coaching tenures at Walsh College, Akron, Cincinnati, Kansas State, and West Virginia.
