BREAKING: Jarret Doege Departs WVU Football
It’s official. WVU quarterback Jarret Doege will spend 2022 elsewhere.
He made the announcement via Twitter that, “I will forever be grateful for the friendships and memories I’ve made at WVU over the past three years. Thank you to the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to live out a lifelong dream of mine. West Virginia will always have a special place in my heart. I am excited about the future and will be looking for a new home for the 2022 season.”
As suspected, the redshirt senior will be utilizing his COVID-19 eligibility to lead his third team next season. He concludes his time as a Mountaineer 590-for-911 with 6,453 passing yards for 40 touchdowns, as well as a trio of rushing touchdowns.
