Carsten Casaday is Ready to Bring Experience to Big 12 | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.
Carsten Casady signed with West Virginia in early January, taking a step up to the Big 12 level.
The 6-foot-6 and 304-pound Casady comes to Morgantown without ever allowing a sack in his carer. 247 Sports ranks Casady as their No. 23 offensive tackle.
A product of Rolesville High School in Rolesville, N.C., Casady was a key member of an offensive line that led the way for a rushing attack that averaged 211 yards per game and finished with 33 touchdowns during his senior year.
Casady’s in-game experience – he’s played 1,167 snaps over his first two seasons, and his individual success rate – he’s yet to allow a sack, prepared him for enduring Rich Rodriguez’s spring practices and will prepare him to be worthy of playing right away in the fall.

Last year: Casady started all 12 games and played 774 snaps at right tackle for coach Jason Candle. He helped pave the way for the offense to produce a 3,000-yard passer, a 1,000-yard rusher and a 1,000-yard receiver.
