CB Keith Washington signs LOI

The Mountaineers have added some depth to an area that most certainly needs it with cornerback Keith Washington out of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Washington (6’2″ 170 lbs) will add some length at corner which West Virginia did not have this year. Washington played his freshman season at Michigan before taking the junior college route. Washington should be in play to compete for a starting job right away as the Mountaineers look to revamp a secondary that had a down season.

Keith told us on Between the Eers the reason he decided on West Virginia, “It was just the place that I felt was right for me, out of all the places I visited, West Virginia gave me the best feeling. It’s the best fit so, why not?”

Washington will be an early enrollee and will be on campus in January.
