DB Josh Norwood signs LOI

Norwood is a 5’10” 175-pound corner from Northwest Mississippi CC, he previously played two years at Ohio State. Norwood was named a first team All-American as he finished with 71 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions and 5 pass break ups as a sophomore at Northwest. He comes to the Mountaineers in a much needed time, and will more than likely be named a starter for the week one matchup with Tennessee. He has great speed and plays exceptional coverage and could become a ball hawking corner for Tony Gibson.

Norwood has two years of eligibility remaining and will enroll in January.
